A ring to remember is a beautiful thing. It can be worn on a chain around a neck, or wrapped safely about a finger. This charmed remembrance of a loved one can be taken anywhere, for a walk in the park to watch the autumn leaves fall, or out back in the spring when wandering the garden. A little company can go a long way. Victorians remembered who they’d lost by doing just this. They knew a ring was a circle of eternity, of always remembering. There’s something truly beautiful and calming about that.

This antique Victorian diamond and enamel gold ring was handcrafted in England in about 1830. It features 6 round, natural, shiny rose cut diamonds in a golden cross with a background of black enamel. This ring is crafted in 15 karat gold and is marked with ’15ct’ a an English Makers mark of ‘H&S’. The ring measures 7.5 mm north to south and 18 mm across, it narrows to 2 mm at the back of the band. This size 5.5 ring has a bit of wear to the enamel and a tiny piece missing at the side, it weighs 2.7 grams.
