This classic Victorian ruby and diamond ring is fully hallmarked and dates to Chester, England 1894. The finely detailed mounting features a twinkling diamond accented by a deep red ruby on either side. In excellent condition, this ring weighs 3.2 grams, bears the marks for 18k gold, the town mark for Chester, England as well as the letter date "L" for 1894. The ring face measures 6.5 x 14 mm and the band is 1.7 mm thick and tapers to 3 mm at the back. It is currently a US size 6 and 1/2, but it could be sized up or down several sizes though care should be taken to preserve the hallmarks.
