Victorian Silver Double Heart Flower Brooch Pin

The amber glow from the sun at dusk was fading as he looked at her. They were on his back porch drinking tea and lemonade, doing nothing in particular. His eyes traveled from her messy ponytail to her neck, to her collar, where he saw something metallic and interesting. It was a brooch she had affixed to her lapel. He wanted to ask her about it, but the silence was so pleasant he didn’t dare, at least not yet. She shivered as a breeze rushed by and he wrapped his warm arm around her, as a true gentleman does. As the last of the day’s light sank into the earth, the sky turned black and the stars popped out.

This antique late Victorian silver brooch was handcrafted in Birmingham, England in 1900. It showcases a heart, leaf, flower, and bow motif with engraved details.
