Victorian Sterling Silver Ivy and Rose Bangle Bracelet, Hallmarked 1880

I’m always on the lookout for good silver bangles. Rings are a given, earrings often done, but a bangle, ahhh... that's a little something extra special. This one certainly stands out in it's class, with bold lines and this double arching rose and ivy motif.

Just over one inch wide, this hand crafted sterling silver bangle is marked with a Victorian registration mark which dates it to having been made on July 14th, 1880. It weighs 37.4 grams and would fit a wrist up to about 7.25 inches around very comfortably. It has a firm catch, a sturdy hinge, and is dent-free. The front is engraved and there are lovely golden-green ivy leaves and pink roses dancing in arches across the front.

Bracelets like this one were an essential part of the jewelry wardrobe for a Victorian lady. They should be an essential part of yours as well. Don't underestimate their ability to make you look more tan, more relaxed, more seductive.
