Victorian Triple Horseshoe Silver Ring Band Hallmarked 1887

This lovely Victorian horseshoe ring was made in Birmingham England in 1887. The gorgeous hand carved band features three horseshoes set against a flowing floral background. This wonderful Victorian ring measures 7.2 mm north to south, it sits 1.2 mm off the finger and the band measures 4.8 mm at the back. It bears a full set of English hallmarks including the hallmark for Sterling silver, the town mark for Birmingham and the date mark for 1887. It weighs 2.5 grams, tests as sterling silver and is currently a US size 7. This ring has been sized before and there is a sizing mark at the back of the band. This mark can be removed though I thought it prudent to leave it for now as it could easily be sized up or down a bit still if needed. This wonderful ring would make the perfect gift or special treat for any lover of the quintessentially Victorian, those who love horse themed jewelry or anyone who just needs a little luck in their lives!
