Vintage 22k Gold Wedding Band Ring Size 5.5

They were married at sundown and the yellow light of the setting sun turned her hair to spun gold and made it seem as though the very earth itself was celebrating their union along with the friends and family gathered all around. He slipped a ring on her finger that was as warm and golden as the setting sun. Every time she looked at it for decades to come she recalled his face as it looked just as he’d sipped it on, lit with joy and the light of that setting sun.

This classic vintage English ring was handcrafted in Birmingham, in 1967. It bears an engraved motif of flowers and stripes on a size 5.5 band wrought in 22 karat gold. This piece weighs a wonderfully heavy 8.2 grams and has a band width of 6.6 mm. It has been fully hallmarked. It is marked with the crown for England, the gold purity mark, “22”, the anchor for Birmingham, and the letter date, “s”. The maker’s mark reads, “J.C.M & S.Ltd”.

This simple and classic ring would be a wonderful unique wedding ring, or a ring to wear because as long as there’s a sun to set, gold will never go out of style.
