It was dreamy, glamorous and just a little mysterious, exactly the sort of ring that made people across the table ask to see it.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eHandcrafted around 1930, this seven stone ring is fashioned in 9 karat gold and centers on a magnificent oval cabochon moonstone weighing approximately 4.93 carats and measuring 14.5 by 9.5 by 5 millimeters deep. Six round sapphires, three to either side, weigh approximately .72 carat in total and measure 3 by 3 by 1.8 millimeters deep each. The tall, open setting allows light to reach the stones and gives the ring wonderful presence on the hand. The face of the ring measures 14.5 millimeters north to south, 20 millimeters across and sits 9.5 millimeters off the finger. The band measures 2.4 millimeters wide. This unmarked ring has been professionally tested as 9 karat gold, is a US size 7.25 and weighs 4.1 grams.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMoonlight, sapphires and cocktails after dark.
