Vintage Art Deco Aquamarine Diamond Cluster Ring

You won’t find a lot of Aquamarines on my website, maybe just two or three. It’s because, to be perfectly honest, I don’t usually love them, I don’t see what all the fuss is about. Well, at least that was the case, until I laid my eyes on this stunningly beautiful ring. This stone was my ‘ah-ha’ moment, the one that made me truly understand the Aqua’s classical appeal. It’s like a crystal blue sea on a still morning, sparkling and richly blue. Yes, now I get it, but it took this ring to show me the way.

This fabulous Art Deco ring was made around 1925, it is set with a fantastic blue Aquamarine that measures 11 x 9 x 5.7 mm and weighs approximately 3.1 carats. The stunning center stone is surrounded by 26 transitional cut diamonds of 1.5 mm each which weigh approximately .5 carats altogether. The ring is crafted in 18 karat gold with a platinum top and is marked as such. Overall this ring measures 14.8 mm north to south and 12.6 mm across, it sits 5.7 mm off the finger and is a size 6.75 but could be resized to suit. The ring weighs 3.4 grams.

It’s typical of me to want the best one, my mother could tell you some stories! At least in this case, I just wanted the best for you!
