Vintage Art Deco Onyx Silver Ring Gentleman's Ring

For a gentleman of the finest sort during the roaring 20s, Art Deco accessories were not just a woman’s game. Between stickpins, shirt studs, and cufflinks, a properly dressed man was never out of style. He didn’t wear too much jewelry, no need to be lavish. But he did typically wear a ring, and if just one ring, probably this ring.

This vintage Art Deco onyx silver ring was handcrafted around 1920. It features a bold design with a square onyx, black on the front and white on the back. The stone measures 13.2 x 12.8 x 2.6 mm and is set in 800 silver. The ring face measures 17 x 21.4 x 3.4 mm off the finger and the band width is 7 mm at the back. It bears the silver fineness mark, “800”. This ring is a size 9.25 and it weighs 9 grams.

For a man or a lady, this onyx ring is one for the ages. Designed during the Jazz era and a true example of Art Deco, it’s just the ring for your finger.
