Vintage Bloodstone Ring 14 karat Gold

It sat on his pinky finger, kingly and proud. It was just one of the dashing things he wore, tailored wool suit, wingtip shoes. It was magnificent though, a sliver of style, a bit of self-expression, tucked in between the rest of his usual ensemble.

This vintage gold bloodstone ring was handcrafted around 1920-30. It features a rectangular flat cut bloodstone set in 14 karat gold on a size 6.5 US band. The bloodstone measures 8.5 x 7 x 2.1 mm. The ring face measures 11.7 x 9.8 x 3.5 mm off the finger with a band width of 3.0 mm. It bears the gold purity mark, “585”. This ring weighs 3.6 grams.

This ring is handsome enough for a man and regal enough for a woman. Wear as a ring or on a chain around the neck.
