This vintage Watch fob is the kind I’m always after. Used to be I could buy them by the bucket full, but they’re aren’t as many around as there used to be. Most likely that’s because everyone else finally figured out what I already knew; that every watch chain is enhanced by one of these wonderful fob pendants.
This Fob is fully hallmarked as having been made in Birmingham, England in 1928, it’s inscribed with “B&O. Shield, 1928-29”, it was likely given as a reward or in appreciation as many of them were. This fob measures 32.4 mm north to south including the bale and 24.1 mm across, it’s 2.2 mm thick and weighs 7.9 grams.
