– Sold Out1960s Paris. Fringe, Fedora's and cigarettes (pants and the tobacco kind). Get a room in Latin Quarter and find a table at Deux Magots, linger over coffee until it's time to order an incredible and inexpensive meal and a glass of red wine. Watch the fashion parade by (people spent twice as much on clothes then as they do now). No need to go anywhere, just sit and watch the parade that was Paris pass you by. If you had the means you could head over to Rue de la Paix and pick up a fabulous bauble. Like this one...
This fantastic ring dates to the mid-late 1960s. It is centered on a fabulous cabochon cut green peridot gem. The ring itself is wonderfully and whimsically built, with the shank riding loosely on the shoulders, giving it some movement but also making for a ring which is very comfortable when worn, moving with the hand. This ring weight 17.1 grams and is quite a hefty chunk of 18 karat gold. It measures 21 mm north to south and 19 mm across and it is marked with the French assay mark of the eagle indicating its 18k content. It is a size 6.75, but due to the construction it fits a slightly larger and smaller finger just fine. For more particulars, please inquire.
