Vintage Silver Enamel Pooh & Friends Charms Bracelet

Winnie-the-Pooh, also know as Pooh Bear, Edward T Bear or simple, Pooh, hit the scene in London’s Evening News on Christmas Eve of 1925. Based on a stuffed bear that author A.A. Milne had purchased for his son Christopher Robin Milne. The stories took off and the first book, Winnie-the-Pooh, was released in 1926. Since then the beloved chubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff bear has captured hearts and imaginations amongst every generation of children and adults alike.

This vintage bracelet features Pooh bear along with his friends Eeyore and Tigger and his beloved side-kick piglet. The character charms are enameled in full color on silver, they hang from a silver chain bracelet. Crafted around 1960, this bracelet has clearly been worn and loved and yet has many generations of wear still left in it. This one is marked with ’925’ for sterling, C for copyright and ‘Disney’. This wonderful piece of vintage ephemera weighs 6.5 grams and is 6.5 inches long.
