Handcrafted in England circa the 1840s to 1850s, this early Victorian cluster ring is made of solid 18 karat gold and marked “18CT.” It features five natural rubies, including a central ruby measuring approximately 2 x 2 x 1.3 millimeters, surrounded by four closed back rubies measuring approximately 1.5 x 2 millimeters each. Six rose cut diamonds, each measuring approximately 1 millimeter, are set between the rubies, adding soft points of light typical of Victorian rose cut diamond jewelry. The ring measures 7.6 millimeters north to south, 12 millimeters across the face, sits 2.8 millimeters off the finger, with a band width of 2.3 millimeters. It weighs 2.55 grams and is currently a US size 6.25.
