Handcrafted in rich 18 karat gold and fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1911, this ring holds five opals in graduated scale: the center measuring approximately 6.5 x 5.2 x 2.9 mm, flanked by two at 6 x 4 x 2.3 mm, and the outermost at 4.3 x 3 x 1.5 mm. The face of the ring measures 7.9 mm north to south and 20 mm across the finger, stands 4.5 mm off the finger, with a band width of 2.3 mm at the back. It weighs 2.83 grams and is a US size 8.5. The full hallmarks include the crown, “18,” the Birmingham anchor, and date letter “m” for 1911.
