This lovely cocktail ring was hand crafted in England in the 1950s of 18 karat white gold. It is set with a bright and lively oval faceted purple amethyst weighs about 8.5 carats and measures 17 mm x 12 mm x 7.6 mm; the ring sits 12.7 mm off the finger and narrows to 1.4 mm at the back of the band. This ring is currently a size 7, but it could be re-sized up or down. The ring weighs 3.9 grams and is marked '18 ct', it also has a makers mark 'R.W.J.'.
Purple is one of those surprisingly neutral colors that can give a pop to just about any outfit, this ring would spice up everything from jeans and a tee, to a tan business suit or even a little black dress!
