Vintage Silver Fob Pendant Leeds Coat of Arms "For King and the Law"

$ 265.00

In a time when honor was not just a word but a way of life, this sterling silver fob stands as a testament to loyalty, pride, and tradition. Made in Birmingham in 1930, it bears the noble Leeds Coat of Arms, where two regal crowned owls watch over a family crest in vivid blue and black enamel. Beneath them, a proud banner reads “Pro Rege et Lege,” a Latin phrase declaring loyalty to both King and law. Weighty in hand yet soft to the touch, this piece carries with it the essence of the city it represents—stoic, regal, and timeless.

Measuring 43 mm north to south and 25.5 mm across, with a thickness of 5.7 mm, this fob has a solid, reassuring presence at 8.1 grams. It is hallmarked for sterling silver and bears the maker’s mark 'W.C&S,' a mark of quality and craftsmanship. The reverse is engraved with the initials 'L & D.H.H L, 1930-3,' a personal touch that adds to its historical charm.

This is more than a piece of jewelry; it is a symbol of allegiance, a piece of history worn close to the heart, and a reminder that some things, like loyalty and honor, never fade.
