Vintage N.E. From Hammered Silver Torque Collar Necklace

Mid-century Danish designer Niels Erik (NE) From was a Danish designer who worked primarily in silver. I’ve always had a personal fondness for his designs, he is silver work is always charming and his pieces are often set with juicy cabochon stones. This is the only hammered torque from him that I’ve ever come across and I was delighted to get it!

This torque is beautifully hammered all around for an eye catching visual as each little bowl reflects the light, giving it a kind of movement and sparkle. The torque is 13.5 inches around and would fit the average neck, it’s 9 mm wide at the front and 1.3 mm thick. This beauty is marked ’925 S’ and ‘From’ and weighs 38 grams.
