This early Arts & Crafts ring, attributed to Bernard Instone, has that kind of magic. A luminous oval of sky-blue glass rests at its center, marked with gentle, natural-looking veining. Around it, a pierced silver frame unfurls with Instone’s signature botanical whimsy: tiny berries, unfurling leaves, and hand-wrought curves arranged with an artist’s sense of movement.

Handcrafted in about 1910, this silver ring is set with a cabochon glass stone measuring approximately 19.5 × 10.15 × 5 mm. The face of the ring measures about 30.2 mm north to south and 17.5 mm across, rising 8.1 mm off the finger; the band is 3.2 mm wide. It weighs 8.51 grams and fits a US size 7. Although unmarked, the ring has been tested.
