Vintage Swedish Silver Animal Link Bracelet Hermann Ole Jacobsen, c. 1950

$ 675.00

A parade of forest creatures marches around the wrist. It's charming, stylized, and full of mid-century Scandinavian whimsy. This delightful bracelet by Swedish silversmith Hermann Ole Jacobsen features nine square links, each depicting a different animal silhouette in relief: squirrel, bird, owl, and more. Each panel is a tiny vignette, like a frame from a children’s book, cut in silver and darkened with oxidized backgrounds for contrast.

Made in Sweden around 1950, the bracelet is constructed in 830 silver and bears the Swedish triple crown hallmark, an “S” for silver, and Jacobsen’s maker’s mark “HOJ.” It measures 7.25 inches long, with each square link measuring approximately 15.2 mm wide and 3.5 mm deep. It weighs a sturdy 32.91 grams and closes securely with a box clasp with safety loops.

This is a piece to wear when you need a bit of woodland magic in your day; playful, thoughtful, and perfectly modern in its vintage simplicity.
