Hand crafted around 1910 by the Artificers’ Guild, this necklace is made in silver with 9-karat gold accents. It features a central opal doublet measuring 19.5 x 15 x 3.5 mm, with a small hairline crack visible only on the back (it does not pass through the opal). The surrounding four opals — three at the top and one at the base of the drop — are black opals with lively, shifting color. The pendant measures 65.5 mm long and 19 mm wide. The necklace is 16.75 inches around the neck, with a built-in extender allowing it also to be worn at 21.25 inches. It weighs 10.74 grams.
