Going on a ten day adventure through the mountains of Peru? Renting a camper van to drive across Iceland? Sitting by a canal eating apple pie in Amsterdam? No matter what your choice of vacation, this necklace is the perfect one to take along. Purple is a neutral, after all, it plays nicely with all the colors (think about it...) and this necklace will have no problem going from a two piece on the Riviera to a little black dress at a Ruin Pub in Budapest.
This fantastic hand crafted necklace was made with wonderful details and filigree-esque silver work. The necklace measures 16 inches from end to end and has nine (9) amethyst drops which graduate in style with the largest one at the front measuring 10.5x7.5x4 mm. These rich purple gems are oval faceted beauties with a dark and mysterious color that flatters on any skin. The necklace is likely English and in the Arts and Crafts style, made around 1900-1910. Hand made in sterling silver it has no marks but has been carefully acid tested, it weighs 12.1 grams.
