Made around 1880, this silver brooch is unmarked but beautifully hand-constructed and set throughout with old paste stones that shimmer with that uniquely soft, candlelit glow. The brooch measures 38.7 mm tall, 21 mm wide, and 3.8 mm deep, and weighs 10.36 grams. Its pin and hinge are original, and the back retains its smooth, softly patinated silver finish.
