Handcrafted around 1900, this antique 18 karat gold sapphire ring retains surviving hallmarks showing the crown and “18.” It features three natural sapphires totaling approximately .14 carats, the center sapphire measuring about 3 x 2.5 x 1.4 millimeters, flanked by two sapphires at approximately 2 x 2 x 1 millimeter, accented by two diamonds measuring about 1.7 millimeters each, totaling approximately .04 carats. The ring measures 7.7 millimeters north to south, 19 millimeters across the face, and sits 1.7 millimeters off the finger, with a band width of 2.6 millimeters. It weighs 3.02 grams and is a US size 7.
