There is a quiet intensity to this ring, a sense of something carefully held at its center. Three rich red rubies form a glowing line, their color deep and steady, like embers that never quite fade. Handcrafted in Chester, England in 1892, this ring is made in 18 karat gold and set with three natural rubies totaling approximately 0.12 carats. The central ruby measures approximately 2.4 x 2.4 x 2 millimeters, with two additional rubies measuring approximately 1.7 x 1.7 x 1.1 millimeters. Surrounding the rubies are 14 rose cut diamonds, each measuring approximately 1.7 millimeters, totaling approximately 0.28 carats. The face of the ring measures 13.3 millimeters north to south and 18 millimeters across east to west, rising 4.3 millimeters off the finger. The band measures 2.3 millimeters wide, and the ring weighs 2.65 grams. It is fully hallmarked with crown, “18,” Chester town mark, and date letter “I” for 1892.
