Handcrafted in England in 1897, this Victorian seven-stone ring is made of 18 karat gold and fully hallmarked with crown, “18,” Birmingham anchor, date letter “x” for 1897, and a partial maker’s mark. It features three rubies totaling approximately .44 carats, including a center ruby measuring approximately 3.5 x 3 x 1.9 millimeters, approximately .16 carats, with two additional rubies measuring approximately 3 x 2.5 x 2.3 mm each, approximately .28 carats total. Four delicate 1 mm rose-cut diamonds add soft antique sparkle. The ring measures 6.1 mm north to south, 18 mm across, sits approximately 3.3 mm off the finger, has a band width of 2 mm, weighs 2.5 grams, and is a US size 7.5.
