Handcrafted in silver around 1880, these earrings feature domed oval cabochons of translucent chalcedony measuring 16.4 x 12 mm. The closed-back settings and dotted edges give them a distinctive Victorian profile, while the smooth orb at the ear lends an elegant simplicity. They measure 35 mm from top to bottom, 16.5 mm across, and are 9.75 mm deep. Together, they weigh 6.9 grams. They are unmarked but beautifully made.
