Antique Edwardian Silver Enamel Scenic Locket Guilloché Back, c. 1910

$ 710.00

There is a hush to this scene, as though the sun has only just broken through the clouds and everything, trees, hills, still water, waits in reverence. This round enamel locket, painted in radiant hues of rose and aubergine over a guilloché ground, captures that fleeting moment of golden light spreading across a lake. The silhouette of tall, wind-bent trees stretches skyward, and the rays seem to pulse outward in silent rhythm, as if the whole landscape is breathing in the warmth of morning.

Handcrafted around 1910, the locket is silver with a richly textured engine-turned guilloché reverse in luminous white enamel. It opens to reveal a double-sided compartment, perfect for holding two photographs or a treasured keepsake. The interior is in excellent condition, though the marks on the bale have worn beyond recognition. Overall, it measures 37 mm tall (including the bale), 29.7 mm wide, and 5 mm thick, and it weighs 10.82 grams.

A quietly stunning piece, this locket holds not only a place for memory but also a landscape suspended in time; perfect for anyone who carries beauty, nostalgia, and a touch of mystery close to the heart.
