There is something lovely about a touch of blue beside the face. These silver and blue paste earrings have the sort of quiet glamour that invites you to put your hair up, reach for a favorite dress and make an occasion of the evening.

Dating to circa 1920, the earrings pair blue paste with silver in an elongated drop design. Their narrow proportions give them an elegant line, each measuring 40 millimeters from top to bottom, 10.8 millimeters across and 4.1 millimeters deep. Together they weigh 6.9 grams. Marks remain visible on the silver but are too worn to decipher, leaving their maker and place of origin unknown.

A lovely touch of antique color, just as appealing with a soft sweater as with an evening dress.
