Its pendant opens like a four-petaled flower caught mid-unfurling, each petal washed in luminous turquoise-to-green enamel, as if painted with light instead of pigment. Soft silver tendrils curl around a glowing mother-of-pearl center; another delicate pearl sits just above, suspended like the first star of evening. It is poetry in sterling, light, effortless, and quietly spellbinding.

Handcrafted around 1900, this necklace is silver with finely worked enamel petals and two 5 mm mother-of-pearl cabochons. It is hallmarked “PAT” and “75–’08.” The chain measures 12.75 inches long (we will happily lengthen it to suit you!); the drop from the upper pearl to the base of the pendant measures 50.5 mm. The pendant itself spans 33.1 mm across and 5.8 mm deep, and the necklace weighs 8 grams.
