A gentleman’s fob, a lady’s pendant, a talisman for luck or remembrance, this spinning charm carries a story in every turn. One side glows with deep green bloodstone, the other with warm, burnished carnelian; two ancient stones favored for their power and polish. The gold frame is crowned by a sculptural knot, a looping flourish that feels like a secret symbol: eternal connection, perhaps, or the Victorian ideal of unbroken love. When worn on a chain it swings with quiet elegance, unfolding its history at your heart.
Made in England around 1890, this substantial spinner fob is rendered in 10 karat gold and marked “10 CT.” The oval bloodstone measures 20.45 x 17 mm and displays classic red flecks in a deep forest green ground; the reverse is a richly colored carnelian at 20.3 x 16.4 mm. The overall dimensions are 39.3 mm tall including bale, 25.5 mm across, and 11 mm deep. It weighs 12 grams. The swivel action is smooth and the setting secure.
Whether worn alone with a watch chain or antique necklace, this piece adds movement, color and a whisper of old-world charm.
