There’s a particular kind of sparkle found only in late Victorian diamond jewelry, born of gaslight evenings, ballroom orchestras, and a time when diamonds were cut by hand for fire rather than mathematical perfection. This antique Victorian five-stone cushion cut diamond ring carries that old magic beautifully. Its bright, lively diamonds sit in a softly sculpted arc across the finger, each stone catching the light with a warmth and movement that feels unmistakably nineteenth century. It has the presence of a ring that has witnessed secrets, celebrations, and quiet moments alike, and kept them all.

Handcrafted in England around 1890, this Victorian diamond ring is made of 15 karat gold and set with five old European cushion cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.93 carats. The center diamond measures about 4.3 by 4.3 by 3 millimeters and weighs roughly 0.35 carats, flanked by two diamonds measuring approximately 3.5 by 3.5 by 2.3 millimeters, together weighing about 0.36 carats, and two outer stones measuring about 3 by 3 by 2 millimeters, totaling approximately 0.22 carats. The ring measures about 7.7 millimeters north to south, 17 millimeters across the finger, and sits 4.7 millimeters off the hand. The band is 2.4 millimeters wide, the ring weighs 3.37 grams, and it is hallmarked “15” for 15 karat gold. It is a comfortable US size 7.

There is a reason collectors pursue antique diamond rings like this one. The fire is different, the proportions softer, the character impossible to replicate. This Victorian five-stone diamond ring slips effortlessly into a modern life while carrying the romance and craftsmanship of another era. Whether chosen as an engagement ring, an heirloom piece, or a ring to be worn and loved every day, it offers a rare combination of history, beauty, and enduring presence.
