Made in about 1860 and tested as 18kt gold, this antique cluster ring features a central garnet measuring 4.5 x 5 x 2.3 mm (approx. 0.52 carats), surrounded by forty six 2 mm seed pearls. The face of the ring measures 8.9 mm north to south and 20 mm across, rising 4 mm off the finger. The band is 1.7 mm wide and the ring weighs 2.92 grams. It is unmarked and fits a US size 8.
