This extraordinary late Victorian cluster ring dazzles with rich, deep pink kisses-red rubies arranged in a quatrefoil motif; four matched oval stones, each with a seductive gleam. Handcrafted in about 1890, this antique cluster ring is set with four well-matched oval rubies measuring approximately 4.5 x 3.5 x 2 mm each, for a total weight of about 1 carat. Five old-cut diamonds, each about 2 x 2 x 1.5 mm totaling approximately 0.2 carats, add bright contrast between and around the rubies. It is made in rich 18 karat gold, unmarked but tested, and it weighs 2.0 grams. It measures 11.2 mm from top to bottom, 19 mm across, and rises 4.6 mm off the hand. The band is 1.5 mm wide at the back. It is currently a US size 7.25.
