Imagine the shimmer of twilight caught in silver, dusky skies, a flash of iridescence, and a thousand stars scattered across the horizon. This necklace feels like that moment. Glowing labradorite cabochons, each alive with flickers of blue and green fire, are set in a garland of silver, their beauty heightened by tiny natural pearls, luminous as dew on midnight petals. The drops sway gently with movement, adding drama and poetry to every turn of the head.
Handcrafted in about 1900, this Edwardian necklace is composed of twenty labradorite cabochons totaling 32.4 carats. The central drop measures 13 x 8.5 x 3 mm, with four matching teardrops of 12 x 7.5 x 3 mm, while the top row includes round stones ranging from 10 mm down to 6.5 mm. Accenting them are 120 natural seed pearls measuring 1–1.5 mm. The necklace measures 16 inches in length, weighs 32.15 grams, and the largest drop section measures 39 mm long by 16 mm across and 7 mm deep.
A necklace like this carries with it the romance of a bygone age. It is elegant, dramatic, and destined to enchant a new century of candlelit evenings and unforgettable occasions.
