Between them rest six baroque pearls, each about 5 × 9 × 3 mm, lending their silken glow to the opals’ fire. The central link, the largest opal framed in silver leaves, measures 21.5 × 30.5 × 5.5 mm. The original chain is decorated with star links, a detail as charming as it is rare. The piece is unmarked but tests as silver.
