This pendant is a sunrise on a clear day, sitting by a lake. It’s a celestial interpretation of seeing the crescent moon in the sky at noon, next to the sun, set against a soft blue atmosphere. It’s that amazing feeling of being so small and yet so big when stargazing or cloud watching. It’s that sense of infinity when attempting to count the stars in the Milky Way. It’s beautiful. It’s comforting.
This antique German pendant was handcrafted around 1910. It features a large rectangle paste stone in the center that measures 17.8 x 15 x 8.5 mm; it’s a lovely clear sky blue shade and is set in sterling silver.
