$ 890.00
A little poem in silver, this enchanting Victorian locket tells a story from dusk to dawn. Etched with exquisite detail, the front shows an owl in flight beneath a crescent moon, a lighthouse on the cliffs, a rising sun just beyond the fold that reads "Night and Morning." Above, a bird greets the light. The entire scene captures the liminal magic of beginnings and endings, love letters written at midnight, or perhaps received at first light.
Crafted in silver around 1890, this rectangular locket measures 55.1 mm north to south (including the bail), 31.2 mm across, and 7.2 mm thick. It weighs a sturdy 22.44 grams. The interior opens to reveal one remaining frame, and the back is smooth and unmarked.
Whether kept as a memento of a long-distance romance or worn as a talisman for fresh starts, this locket is a rare piece of wearable storytelling; it is quiet, symbolic, and beautifully sincere.
