Large Victorian Scottish Inlaid Pebble Brooch Sterling Silver

This stunning Scottish citrine and agate brooch was made during the 1880's. It features a glittering, golden brown citrine set gracefully at the center of a intricately patterned circle of interlocking red, grey, green and yellow agates. Rich in detailing, the entire brooch is delicately engraved in between the all the settings and all around it's outer edge.

In excellent condition, this fabulous Scottish brooch weighs 36.2 grams and measures just 54.2mm across, and has a depth of 19.5mm. The glowing citrine at it's center measures 15.6 mm across. Though it bears no marks it tests as Sterling silver. A rare find indeed, this stunning piece is perfect for any collector of Scottish jewelry or for any lover of truly unique Victorian jewelry.
