Georgian Necklace with Garnet Slide Pendant 15k Gold
I know that I am by far not the only antique jewelry dealer to lament the rise in popularity of Georgian jewelry. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Georgian jewelry and I love that people are loving Georgian jewelry, it’s just that it’s become so popular that it’s getting very difficult to find these fabulous old pieces. So, I was doubly thrilled to find this wonderful, two hundred year old, beauty!
This lovely Georgian necklace was hand crafted in England in about 1820. The necklace is made up of a 18.5 inch long chain which has two golden capped ends and a slide pendant in the shape of a garter.
