Handcrafted in Chester and dated 1910, this antique serpent ring is made of solid 18 karat gold and is fully hallmarked with a crown, the Chester city mark, “18,” the date letter “K” for 1910, and the maker’s mark “JK.” The design features two serpent heads, one set with a ruby measuring approximately 3 millimeters, and the other set with a matching 3 millimeter diamond. Each serpent’s eyes are also diamond set, four diamonds in total, each measuring approximately 1 millimeter. The ring measures 11.4 millimeters north to south, 23 millimeters across, and sits 5 millimeters off the finger, with a band width of 8.7 millimeters. It weighs 10.23 grams and is a US size 10.
