A shield for the heart rather than the battlefield, this handsome Edwardian fob carries the quiet dignity of a bygone age. Its stylized crest gleams softly with the warm patina of over a century’s wear, its engraved details catching light like a memory half-remembered. Once worn as a watch fob, perhaps awarded for a feat now long forgotten, it now feels perfectly at home as a bold, personal, and timeless pendant.
Handcrafted in Birmingham in 1912, this pendant is made of 9 karat gold and fully hallmarked with “9”, “.375”, anchor, and “n” date letter, along with the maker’s mark "TL". It measures 35.6 mm north to south including the bale, 26.1 mm across, and 2.1 mm thick, weighing 5.66 grams. The chain shown is not included and is for display purposes only.
Once worn close to the waist, now worn close to the heart, this century-old fob pendant has found its way from pocket to pendant, carrying a whisper of Edwardian pride wherever it goes.
