Handmade in 18 karat gold and fully hallmarked in Birmingham in 1900, this ring holds three sapphires, the center measuring 5 x 4.5 mm and the sides about 4.3 x 3.5 mm, with a total carat weight of approximately 0.87 ctw. Between them sparkle four diamonds, each 1.5 mm. The ring measures 6 mm north to south, 20 mm across the face, and 2.7 mm deep, with a 2.5 mm band. It weighs 4.75 grams and is a US size 6.75. The inside of the band bears full English hallmarks: the crown, “18”, the anchor for Birmingham, the date letter “a” for 1900, and the maker’s mark “S.B&S Ld”.

This is the kind of ring that was never meant to be hidden away, this is a jewel made to be worn, admired, and passed along with love.
