Early Victorian Pearl and Garnet Ring, Dated 1846
Early Victorian Pearl and Garnet Ring, Dated 1846
- Easy Returns
- Layaway Available
This early ring is set with six creamy white pearls and three bright glowing garnets. It is hand crafted in 18 karat gold with gorgeous engraved details all the way around the shank. The ring is engraved with 'Bradfield, Nov. 13th, 1846, G. E. Paley'. I'm not sure if it was given as a gift or is a memorial ring of some kind. The craftsmanship of this ring is truly top notch and the ring has a great feel and weight. The three oval cut garnets are a bright plummy red and the pearls are well color matched. The ring is a size 6 and would be difficult to resize, it weighs 5.6 grams. It was made in England around 1845.
