Two small pearls meet in a quiet, graceful curve, like a conversation that has been going on for years. This is a moi et toi ring in its most delicate form, two luminous points drawn together by flowing lines of gold that seem to move as naturally as a ribbon in air. Crafted in France in about 1900, this ring is made in 18 karat gold and set with two natural pearls, each measuring approximately 3 millimeters. It is a size 7 US and weighs 3.4 grams. The face of the ring measures 8.8 millimeters north to south and 18 millimeters across east to west, rising 5 millimeters off the finger. The band measures 2 millimeters wide. French hallmarks are present, including the eagle’s head, along with an additional partial mark. The elegant bypass design allows the pearls to sit slightly apart, creating that distinctive moi et toi silhouette.
