Made in London in 1976, this 9 karat gold ring features a high-domed natural amethyst weighing approximately 2.53 carats and measuring 9.5 x 7.3 x 5.1 mm. The ring measures 11 mm north to south and 18.5 mm across the face, with a depth of 7.1 mm and a band width of 3 mm. It weighs 3.8 grams and is a US size 7. The inside of the band is fully hallmarked with the crown, “375” for 9k gold, the leopard’s head for London, date letter “B” for 1976, and maker’s mark “SJ.”
