If you’ve been to my shop before, then you might already know that I’m a sucker for Arts and Crafts jewelry. If you haven’t been here, welcome! Have a look around and you’ll soon discover that it’s true. It’s not just the designs I love, although I do find them very much pleasing to the eye, but also the philosophy. This school of design, which spread across Europe in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries, was a pushback to the modernization of the Industrial Revolution, a return to hand craftsmanship, and the designs are imbued with a that look and feel of having been hand made, artisanal at its finest.
This wonderful ring was hand crafted in the Arts and Crafts era in about 1900. It is made from sterling silver and a bezel set, smooth cabochon piece of black and white granite or agate. The stone measures 17.7 mm north to south and 12.2 mm across, it sits 3.3 mm off the finger and narrows to 1.7 mm at the back of the band. This size 5.5 ring weighs 2 grams.
I offer a 3-5 payment layaway on most items purchased for full retail price, please inquire if you are interested in setting up a layaway. Items ship when payment is complete and items purchased or payments made on layaway are eligible for store credit only.
