Handcrafted in about 1910 in 18 karat gold with platinum settings, unmarked but tested, these earrings hold eight rubies totalling approximately 2.00 carats. The stones range from pairs measuring about .22 carats, .32 carats, and .64 carats, along with single rubies measuring about .46 and .36 carats. Fourteen diamonds add a combined 1.34 carats, with old-cut stone pairs measuring about .20 carats, .26 carats, .16 carats, .12 carats, and a suite of six diamonds contributing about .60 carats. The earrings measure 45 mm north to south, 11.8 mm across, and 3.5 mm deep, and together they weigh 6.15 grams.
