The face of the ring spans 35.5 mm north to south and 22 mm across, rising 7.8 mm off the finger. The band is 2 mm wide, and the ring is a US size 6. It bears a suite of French import marks, the owl, the swan, and the weevil, attesting to its entry into France in the 19th century and confirming its minimum fineness of 18 karat gold.
