Handcrafted in about 1880, this Victorian brooch is made in unmarked, but tested, 9 karat gold, set with traditional Scottish agate along the blade. It measures 53.3 mm north to south, 12 mm across, and 9 mm deep, and it weighs 2.97 grams. The original pin and fittings remain intact.
